By visiting AlignmentChart, creating an account, or voting, you accept these terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the site. You must be at least 13 years old to use AlignmentChart.

AlignmentChart lets the community build alignment charts together: anyone can create a chart, submit characters, and vote on which square each character belongs in. Placement is decided by time-gated crowd voting — results reflect the votes cast, not our editorial opinion. Charts, submissions, and vote tallies are public.

• Provide accurate information when signing up, and keep your password to yourself. You are responsible for activity on your account.
• One person, one account. Do not create accounts to evade a ban or to multiply your votes.
• If you believe your account has been compromised, contact us and change your password immediately.

You keep ownership of everything you create on AlignmentChart — charts, character submissions, and uploaded images. By posting, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, display, and distribute that content as part of running the site (including showing charts publicly and in previews or embeds).

Only submit content you have the right to use. Community content is public by design; do not post anything you want kept private.

Do not:

• Manipulate voting — bots, scripted votes, coordinated ballot-stuffing, or abusing anonymous voting tokens to vote more than once.
• Post content that is illegal, hateful, harassing, sexually explicit, or that targets private individuals.
• Impersonate other people or misrepresent affiliation.
• Upload malware, spam the service, scrape it at disruptive volume, or probe or disrupt its infrastructure.
• Infringe other people’s copyrights, trademarks, or privacy.

We may remove content, close charts, or suspend or terminate accounts that break these terms or harm the community — with or without notice, at our discretion. We are not obligated to monitor content, but we act on reports. To report content, contact us at the address below.

The AlignmentChart name, logo, design, and code are ours (or our licensors’) and are protected by law. These terms do not grant you any right to use our branding. Characters and franchises referenced in community charts belong to their respective owners; charts are fan-made commentary, not endorsements.

If you believe content on the site infringes your copyright, email us with the details (what the work is, where it appears, and how we can reach you) and we will review and act on valid notices.

Charts can be seeded from third-party sources (for example, imported TierMaker templates), and the site links to other Tastier Adventures sites and external pages. We do not control third-party content or sites and are not responsible for them.

AlignmentChart is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not promise the site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any chart, vote tally, or ranking is accurate or fit for any particular purpose. Chart results are community opinion — treat them accordingly.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost data, profits, or goodwill, arising from your use of the site. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the greater of what you paid us to use it (currently nothing — the site is free) or 50 USD. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

You can stop using AlignmentChart at any time, and you can ask us to delete your account (see the Privacy Policy). We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these terms. Sections that by their nature should survive — content licenses for public charts, disclaimers, and liability limits — survive termination.

We may update these terms as the site evolves. Changes will be posted here with an updated effective date, and meaningful changes will be highlighted on the site. Continuing to use AlignmentChart after changes take effect means you accept the new terms.
